Welcome to Serenada Country Lodge

Serenada Country Lodge is the perfect rural destination for anyone visiting the South Island of New Zealand. Nestled in the foothills of the spectacular Southern Alps and just 40 minutes from Christchurch International Airport, Serenada Country Lodge is close enough to easily access the South Island's main city but far enough away to give the feeling of solitude.

Ideal for all travellers, whether you're from New Zealand or abroad, Serenada Country Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind, get active or even get married! Our facilities are second to none; the main lodge, restaurant & bar, our four luxurious suites, heated swimming pool(December thru March), spa and of course our own 9-hole golf course all at your disposal when you stay at Serenada. The lodge prides itself on being one of those rare places that welcome pets - we have special animal accommodation as well!

Finding us

From Christchurch, follow the State Highway 1 motorway north. At the third exit turn left onto Lineside Road. Follow this road through the Rangiora township and over the Ashley River bridge. Continue along this road until you reach Loburn. Turn left at Hodgson's Road. You will see a yellow AA sign saying 'Serenada Lodge 7km'. Follow this road for the 7km. It will take you over the Okuku River. The next intersection is Foothills Road. You will see the Serenada Lodge sign there. Turn left and follow the road to the end where you will find Serenada Country Lodge.

From Kaikoura, continue on SH1 to Amberley. When you reach Amberley township turn right into Markham St, go to the end of this road then turn right into Douglas Rd. Go over the railway lines and turn left at Lawcocks Rd (just after the Railway Pub on your left). Drive to the end of Lawcocks Rd then turn left into Balcairn Amberley Rd. Continue along this road for around 15 minutes until you reach Ashley and the end of the road. Turn right into Cones Rd, then continue on to Loburn. When you reach Loburn turn left at Hodgson's Road. You will see a yellow AA sign saying 'Serenada Lodge 7km'. Follow this road for the 7km. It will take you over the Okuku River. The next intersection is Foothills Road. You will see the Serenada Lodge sign there. Turn left and follow the road to the end where you will find Serenada Country Lodge.
