Serenada Country Lodge

Facilities & Activities

Relax & Unwind

A stay at Serenada Country Lodge is not complete without making full use of our extensive facilities. Why not read a book by the grand fireplace with a lovely glass of red, or perhaps watch the rugby while sitting at the bar enjoying a brew with Mark. Or perhaps sipping a cocktail in the outdoor spa pool with the amazing southern hemisphere night sky gazing back at you is more to your liking?

In summer, our heated swimming pool is a centrepiece - well, when the golf course isn't - it's the perfect place to while away a lazy summers afternoon. We also have a tanning bed and on-demand beauty therapy and massage; to find out more please send us an enquiry.

Golf at Serenada

Serenada Country lodge has a great 9-hole links style golf course within its grounds. Get some friends together - or maybe even talk the husbands/wives into a challenge! A lot of fun and only 30 seconds from your suite and the lodge. Corporate groups and those conferencing at Serenada - this is perfect for you. Of course the lodge has a few sets of clubs to lend to our guests for free - just ask when you're booking your accommodation or function.

Serenada Country Lodge also welcomes casual golfers. Green fees are:

  • 9 Holes $12.50 per person
  • 18 Holes $25.00 per person
  • Club Hire $10.00 per person

Golf course users are welcome to join us at the bar for a drink after their round. Of course the smart option is to make an event of it and stay the night, so no one needs to worry about driving!

Horse & Farm

Visit Serenada's sister property, Horsford Downs, where Lyn operates Riarma Quarter Horse Stud and enjoy one of the authentic visitor activities they operate exclusively for Serenada Country Lodge Guests.

Western Pleasure and Cutting Horse Demonstration

Come watch western pleasure & cutting horses in action. The first demonstration you will see is of Western pleasure horses being trained. The quarter horses will go through their paces on a very loose draped rein which looks like they are performing by themselves. The next demonstration is of the clever cutting horses. Derived from the old west when they needed to get an animal out of the herd on the range to doctor or check out. The cattle beast is quietly edged out of the herd then the action starts as the animal tries to get back with it's mates, see how the horse like a cat playing with a mouse, cuts it off leaping in big sweeping motions from side to side. Truly an awesome sight to behold.  An expert will talk you through both demonstrations.
