WaimakaririSerenada Country Lodge is located in the Waimakariri district of North Canterbury, just a few minutes drive north of Christchurch. Visitors will experience a tranquil country lifestyle destination, and be warmly welcomed by the people who love to share their region. Hurunui/Hanmer SpringsLocated in the Hurunui district, Hanmer Springs is a 70 minute drive north of Serenada Country Lodge. The region boasts a fantastic food and wine trail that takes in over 20 suppliers. Hanmer Springs, the iconic alpine spa village is located here and is the perfect destination for anyone wanting to relax and unwind or get active and ski or mountainbike. KaikouraA little further afield - 2.5hrs drive north of Christchurch - Kaikoura is definetly worth the visit as it has some attractions that are quite unique. Most well known for the resident and transient whales that frolic and feed just offshore, Kaikoura is also a haven for amazing seafood and of course natural beauty.
